Elisabetta Piazza

Elisabetta is an associate at M.B. Kemp in the firm’s International Compliance Department, where she advises clients on corporate governance, criminal corporate liability and GDPR matters.

Elisabetta regularly supports clients in compliance-related aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.

She assists Italian and international companies in the design, implementation and updating of compliance programmes, with a particular focus on organisational, management and control models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, internal procedures and risk assessment activities.

Elisabetta also delivers tailored compliance and training programmes for management and employees, and drafts memoranda, policies and reports, carrying out legal research on a multi-jurisdictional basis.

She liaises with regulatory and supervisory authorities in connection with sector-specific regulated matters, including the drafting and management of filings, with a particular focus on Italian Golden Power proceedings.

Elisabetta is fluent in Italian and English.

Elisabetta joined the firm in 2026 and works between the Milan and London offices.

Prior to joining the firm, Elisabetta practiced at two leading international law firms, working on: 

• due diligence, regulatory and compliance matters; 
• foreign direct investments regulation and the Italian Golden Power regulation, 
• criminal corporate liability matters, also pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001.
